Makeup Wishlist

Happy Saturday everyone! I have recently been on a try-something-new mood. There have also been a lot of cool things that different makeup brands have come out with that I would LOVE to try. Here are a few:

Urban Decay – Flushed

This simply looks amazing! I saw xsparkage’s video about this product and fell in love.

Revlon – Nearly Naked Foundation & Powder

These sounds like they are a great combo! Not to mention that I am already a pretty big fan of Revlon’s foundations.

The Balm – Meet Matt(e)

Let’s be honest here, this is the most hilariously packaged palette ever! They also look like they have a great variation of colors for any kind of look.

Please let me know below if you think I should give any of the items above a shot or if there are any other items you think I should try!

Have a wonderful weekend ❤

Great Find!

Happy Saturday! As a makeup lover, I always love trying new things but hate committing to a high price when I run the risk of not liking it. Thankfully, Ulta has a mini version of a lot of high end products that I may have always wanted to try!

My newest item is the Tarte Blush and Bronzer on the Go featuring an Amazonian Clay Blush in Doll Face and a bronzer in Park Ave Princess. The size is small but we all know that we don’t ever go through a whole container of blush or bronzer so the mini size is perfect!

I have always heard great things about these items so I am very excited to try them out! At $15 it is a great way to try out a product that I probably would have never tried otherwise.

Next time you are at your favorite Ulta, check out the little area before check out, you may find that one product you have been wanting to try!

Hope you all enjoyed this! Let me know if you love trying out these mini versions of high end products!

June Birchbox!

Good afternoon everyone! I recently got my June birchbox and I wanted to share with you all what came in mine. This months theme was Jet Set and I am really excited to try some of the products! Descriptions below come from the little slip that explains what each product offers.

Comodynes: Self-Tanning Intensive European Towelettes. The box comes with two packs of these towelettes and I’m really excited to see how well they work!

Stila: One Step Bronze 3-in-1 bronzer, primer, and serum that keeps skin’s oil production in check. This product seems like something I will really enjoy! It does have some sparkle in it so I’m a little concerned whether it will really keep my oil in check or just make me look more oily!

theBalm Cosmetics: Stainiac in Beauty Queen is a 2-in-1 lip and cheek stain. This lip stain has a rather funny smell but I’m still excited to give it a try.

Wonderstruck: Fragrance by Taylor Swift. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this scent so I’m really excited to try it!

Luna Bar: Luna Mini in Peanut Butter Cookie. I’m a big fan of Luna bars so I was pleasantly surprised to see the mini version in my box! I’m a big chocolate lover but this peanut butter cookie flavor is delicious! I will definitely be repurchasing this flavor!

That’s all for this months box! I’m excited to give it a try and let you all know how it went!

Have you all received your boxes? What did you think? 🙂

Tips for Quick Makeup Look

Sometimes we just don’t have time in the morning to do a full face of makeup! It happens to me all the time so I found a way to look nice and refreshed while only spending about 3 minutes and using 4 items!

Here I am with no makeup. (Yikes!)

Here are the products I used:

Maybelline Colossal:

I’ve talked about this mascara before and will continue to say how wonderful it is! Putting on mascara will really open up your eyes and make you look refreshed!

Revlon Photo Ready Concealer:

This concealer has been working great for me so obviously it is something that I use almost daily. The coverage is great but it’s not heavy! It also adds some bightens yet conceals any under eye dark circles!

ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder:

Great for a quick sweep of bronzer and blush all in the same container. Using this will really sculpt your face and it’s really quick to apply!

NYX Color Lip Balm:

I finished off the look with a lip balm that provides color and moisture in one tube!

Here is the final look!

I look refreshed and ready for a wonderful day.

Hope you guys enjoyed this!

Comment below if you try it or have any other quick tips that help you out in the morning!

April Favorites!

Happy May everyone! Flowers are blooming, the sun is out and it’s time to share my favorite items for the past month of April!

Some of these have been my favorites for a while now but since this is my first time doing this, I’ll share them 🙂

Garnier Smoothing Milk

I’ve been using this product for quite a while and I love it! I use it whether I’m going to straighten or curl my hair. It leaves the hair with a nice shine but not oily. It also smells great! The bottle bring a lot of product so they usually last me a while.

Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden

Thanks to my wonderful cousin, I was able to try this primer and I realized that everyone has always been right about the amazing quality of all these Primer Potions. I am very impressed by the amount of lasting ability it lets my eyeshadow have. I also really like the matte formula because it dries quickly and creates a great base for the eye shadow I apply.

MAC Russian Red

For a while I had been using the NYX Lip Creams and had forgotten about my precious MAC lipsticks until I decided to dust off my Russian Red and fell in love with it all over again. I can’t say enough good things about this lipstick because you guys already know that it’s one of my favorites! It’s great for a lot of skin tones and it looks great! If you’re looking for a great red color, give this one a try!

ELF Studio Brush and Bronzer Duo

This blush and bronzer duo is great! Especially for $3, you can’t beat it. The pigmentation is great and I’ve heard a lot of people say that it is a dupe for Nars! It does have shimmer so be careful with it! I contour with a matte blush and then apply this duo on top.

Wet & Wild Ultimate Brow Kit

Now I don’t tend to fill in my eyebrows very often but sometimes I feel like I have a few spots that need help or sometimes I cut a little too much hair and have gaps! I use the middle color and it works just fine! I stay away from the dark color since my hair is a little lighter. The gel is ok, not my favorite but for traveling, it works.

That’s all for my April favorites! Hope you all enjoyed it 🙂
