Don’t leave your colored jeans tucked away this fall!

Happy Sunday!
Today I was thinking of how much I hate putting away summer outfits in the fall. I know that fall consists of more dark hues but sometimes it’s nice to incorporate some color.
One of the biggest trends lately have been colored jeans and I can’t bear to put those away for the fall. Thanks to Polyvore, I created this look featuring blue skinny jeans but with fall inspired pieces that accentuate the jeans while also making them fall appropriate.
Bring your Colored Jeans to Fall

It’s as easy as pairing a nice blazer with black booties and BAM, your colored jeans have officially turned into this years fall staple!

What other ways would you turn your colored jeans into this falls staple? Let me know in the comments!

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

I’m moving back to FL!

Good Morning everyone! Today is a big day! I move back to FL so I played a little with Polyvore and created a simple airport outfit. It’s going to be hot so I kept it pretty simple.

Hope you are all having a great week!

4th of July!

I know today is not July 4th, but it’s the day before and I’m thinking about is what I’m going to wear! Have you all thought about your outfits? I love dressing up to themes and holidays!

I got this look from Polyvore and it’s so adorable! The stripped shirt is really cute and I think it would really fit my shape. If you noticed, I paired the look with Sperrys because it’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow here in NYC.

Hope you guys enjoyed this! Let me know in the comment section what you will be wearing tomorrow!

I recently went to paddling on an outrigger in the Hudson River and it was so cool! It was the most amazing experience of my life so I wanted to share this wonderful organization with you guys. They are called NY Outrigger and they offer 3 free novice classes where you paddle in the Hudson River with professionals. I can’t explain to you how cool it was! If you live in the city or will be here for a while, check them out! The coordinators are called Will and Keith.

Summer Look Inspired by Fedoras!

Day 2 of Summer is here and it is so HOT in NYC!

Great thing about this weather is all the cute outfits and bright colors that are being sported! Yesterday I went to Coney Island for the first time and if you follow me on twitter you saw that I wore a fedora! I love wearing fedoras because they add such a nice finishing touch to any summer look.

Which leads me to my latest Polyvore creation! I was inspired by my fedora and created this fun summer look than can work for the beach or a nice brunch with friends.

Hope you all enjoyed this look! 🙂

LBD with a splash of color

Now I know that everyone loves a little black dress. So when I put LBD on the search page of Polyvore a bunch of great options came up but I fell in love with this amazing and very detailed dress! I can’t stop looking at all the detail! Lately, I’ve been splashing some color on anything that is neutral since it gives it a more spring look. This look was no exception with these beautiful pink heels and complimentary orange handbag. I really like the detail in the shoe because it reminds me of the design on the dress.

Hope you all enjoy this look!

What do you guys pair with your LBD? Neutrals or a pop of color?

Summer Fun!

Summer is creeping up on us and it’s getting pretty hot here in NYC! As you can tell from the look below, I’m a fan of chiffon tops, especially for summer time since they are flowy and usually comfortable.

I put this look together on Polyvore and really love the cohesive colors with neutral accessories. Can we also check out those wedges! I’m a big fan of wedges, especially when I find a really good comfy pair just because it can transform your day time look but can also be appropriate for night-time.

Also, that bag is insane just like the price tag! Thankfully, Polyvore let’s me put these looks together for $0! This is so much fun to do!

Since we are on the topic of summer, what’s your favorite item that you always go to in the summer months?

Complimentary Color Blocking

This is my latest creation on Polyvore! I entered a contest with Timex and this is an outfit I created! I love the simplicity of the colors and movement of all the pieces while still maintaining a classy feel. I also chose some complimentary color blocking pieces that really look well together but aren’t that bright like the wedges and the earrings. I added the hair and makeup pictures because I LOVE the style from the 40’s and this look definitely reminds me of that era.

Lastly, I’m in love with this Timex watch! I’m not a big spender when it comes to watches but this is a pretty nice one for just $45!
