The pair I got are in a brown shade for $9.89 but I wish my local target would have the pair above available!

P.S. Take a look at Target shoe clearance section online. They’ve got some really cute stuff!

Let me know if you buy a pair!

Nail of the Week!

This weeks nails feature a beautiful shade of blue from Sinful Colors called Rain Storm.

Most impressive part of this polish is that I only used ONE coat!

I used the OPI top coat so hopefully the lasting power will be as good as it was with the Essie polish.

Please let me know in the comments below if you guys want to see another update about this specific nail polish.

Have a great day!

UPDATE: Essie Nail Polish

Good evening everyone! First and foremost, I want to thank those who commented on my Essie nail polish post about its longevity. I had a friend who was having some trouble with Essie nail polishes and wanted to know if anyone else was having the same issue.

I wanted to let you guys know how my experience was going with my first ever Essie nail polish in the color Raise Awareness. The color is absolutely beautiful!

Below is a picture of what my nails look like after 8 days with the Essie polish.

The most surprising part about this self manicure is how long it lasted without chipping! It always feels like that’s the first thing that goes wrong.

For this complete at home manicure I used:

Sally Hansen Hard as Nail Hardener as my base coat ($2.89)

Essie’s Raise Awareness ($3.99 TJ Maxx)

OPI Top Coat ($8)

I will mention that everyone has different experiences with nail polish but this is what worked for me! Please let me know in the comments section what has worked for you!

🙂

Small Haul!

Good evening everyone! Today I decided to pass by a mall on my way home just to check out what they had. It nice to sometimes go in the middle of the week to avoid the weekend mad rush! I didn’t get too many things but I sure am happy about the few purchases I made!

As we all know, sheer top are very in style lately which leads me to buy tank tops to wear underneath. So far, the best deals I’ve found are at Forever 21. They cost $2.80 and have a wide variety of colors!

I got the tank top in three colors; black, white and peach. I think they will be great to wear with a lot of things. Besides, you can never have too many tanks and especially at $2.80!

Before checking out I saw this cute bow and had to have it! It cost $3.80 and it’s so cute! I can see myself wearing this with a chunky necklace.

My last and most favorite purchase are these wedges from Charlotte Russe! They were $10!!! These will be great all year round so I’m going to get good use out of them. As always, these may not be available at you local Charlotte Russe but I highly suggest you all going to check! You never know what you might find! 🙂

Have you all found any good deals lately? Let me know below in the comments!

Nail of the Week!

If you remember my recent Sale Alert post then you saw my first Essie polish. I loved it so much that I immediately changed my polish. I must admit that I love the baby pink shade of this color and the opacity of it! Below I am wearing two coats of the color.

Again, this is Essie’s Raise Awareness.

*I had a friend comment on my post about this polish explaining her experience with Essie nail polishes. She said that they chip really quickly on her. Do you guys have this same issue?

New Handbag!

Happy Sunday everyone! A while back I fell in love with this beautiful and unique handbag at Ross. The amazing colors and size sold me so I purchased it at $34.95. The price is a little high for Ross but I knew that this would be a piece that I will have for a LONG time.

The handbag is from a website called Big Buddha and they have a ton of cute bags! I’ve also seen this brand at TJ Maxx! As you can tell from the picture above, the purse is absolutely beautiful! I love using it as a pop of color on with any outfit! My favorite part about it are the straps. The shorter strap is the perfect length because I can wear it on my arm or shoulder. Now it also has a detachable long strap that serves as a cross-body.

At first I was deceived by the white strap in the front because I thought you had to loosen it every time to open the bag but you don’t. Instead, there is a magnetic closure under the soft pink flap.

Again, I love this bag and have been wearing it very often! As mentioned before, I found it at Ross so you may be able to spot at your local store! If you find it, please let me know what you think 🙂

Also, check out the brands website for more cute handbags!

Sale Alert!!

Good evening everyone! I have a confession to make…

I bought my first Essie nail polish today!

I know, I’m EXTREMELY late with Essie but today I was doing a little shopping at T.J. Maxx and happened to stumble upon some nail polishes by the register. You know how all these stores have cute stuff set up around the purchase line and today there was quite a back up. Good thing for that because I was able to score my FIRST Essie nail polish for…

$3.99!

This beautiful pink shade was part of their Breast Cancer Awareness month.

It’s called Raise Awareness and I love it! Can’t wait to feature it on a Nail of the Week post!

Here’s the proof of the price! The polishes were by the register and they had 3 other Essie colors available. I know that not all T.J. Maxx stores will carry these specific polishes but as always I encourage you to take a trip and hunt for it because you never know what you will find! 🙂

Have a great night everyone! 🙂

Let me know in the comments below if you find any Essie polishes at your local T.J. Maxx!

Review: Buxom Lash

Last month, I mentioned receiving some Sephora goodies from two friends. I’ve been able to try out the Buxom mascara that came in the Beach Bound kit and LOVE it!

Above is a picture of myself with no mascara which looks kind of dull! Next to it, is the mascara that can turn my lashes into long, luscious, almost false lashes!

What I love:

  • Length it provides
  • Great for volume
  • Amazing brush
  • True to it’s name, Blackest Black
  • You can get this trial size version with a lip gloss for $12 at Sephora!

What I didn’t like:

  • Not much length with one coat
  • Need to really thoroughly coat for the product to stick to lashes
  • Full size price ($19)

Above is two pictures with the difference between coats! I must say that I love the way my lashes look with the two coats so I usually stick to two coats.

All in all, I really like the idea that Sephora has with letting you buy this mascara (trial size) with a lip gloss for $12! Therefore, if you are on the hunt for a good mascara, I would definitely pick up the Beach Bound set from Sephora!

Let me know if you try this mascara!
